What DropGrade is
DropGrade is an independent research tool. It grades expired and dropping domains from public records — registry data, the Internet Archive and live web checks — so you can judge whether a domain is worth buying for a local rank-and-rent site. A grade is a research estimate, not a promise.
Accounts and credits
You need a free account to run scans. Every account receives 5 free credits once, at signup; one credit grades one domain. Failed scans are never charged. Extra credits — bought in a pack or added by the admin — never expire. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
Fair use
Use the tool for your own research. Do not abuse the service, attempt to bypass credit limits, or resell access. Accounts that do may be closed. Never register a domain that carries someone else's trademark — a good grade does not make a name safe to use.
No guarantees
Domain availability, prices and registry data change hour to hour. Always confirm availability at a registrar before you buy. DropGrade is not affiliated with Google, the Internet Archive or Ahrefs, and grading data comes from those public sources as-is.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, DropGrade is not liable for losses that follow from a purchase or business decision made using a grade.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the tool evolves. Continuing to use DropGrade after an update means you accept the current terms.
